So I’m new to Rheumatoid Arthritis I was diagnosed just over 1 month ago. The symptoms for me came on pretty suddenly just right after Christmas time. My doc wanted to prescribe Methotrexate and prednisone right away. After reading about side effects I decided to go holistic with my approach. So for pain I do use CBD oil. I live in San Francisco so it is legal here. I have been taking a dose before go to sleep and I do notice I sleep through the night when I take it. It definitely relaxes me without the High feeling. My pain is minimal and  I feel like it helps with the inflammation. I’m not a marijuana smoker so I was skeptical at first, I was worried if I would feel funny but I don’t at all. For the last 2 weeks I do believe it has helped me a lot. I’m willing to try anything natural so for me this is a win.

I also have RA and I'm looking into CBD oil. Are you still using it? How are you doing with it?

My daughter "waxes lyrical" about the benefits of CBD Oil (How - I haven't a clue) so I'd be interested to hear from anyone with RA who uses it also!

Hi Gaz, I tried this last year hoping it would help with pain and sleep, didn't really notice much difference, maybe needed to take it for longer. Looking into it further it seems you need the THC for sleep which is illegal unless you grow it yourself, I might give it another try as I'm having problems with my medication, tastes disgusting though.

Hi Gaz . My son-in-law is struggling with 'jumpy leg syndrome' and also as a mechanic he has problems of mobility in his wrists. This affects his sleep. He is 98% better as a result of taking a very small dose daily of over the counter CDB oil. I understand it's used widely in America. It also took him about two weeks to feel the benefit. Hope this helps x

My elderly father has been struggling with wrist pain with arthritis for a number of years and I heard about CBD and got some cream from a company called isodiol. The cream is supposed to be for exercise pain but can be used for anything and it's really made a huge difference for my dad. Pain is almost gone now for most days, and he can sleep through the night for the first time in years.

It's called bioactive  rapid cream, I think they're a Canadian company. I hope this helps!

Hi Gaz, just wondering if you tried the CBD oil and how you found it. I bought some today and keen to hear about other people's experience with it

      Hi Sal

Yes i tried it, and yeah it does help but not in the way i suppose i wals hoping for, in so much as i still had to take painkillers as well.

I guess i thought i'd be able to do away with the p/killers but not with the type of oil i got.

Am looking into a stronger type.

It came from a reputable company and cost around £60 for a small bottle.

Hey Gaz, I have been taking CBD Oil for my chronic pain since 6 months. And it seems effective. The first three months it wasn't this much effective so I thought I should stop. But my doctor suggested that it will take time and I continue with my one dropper dosage. Give it a chance. This will take time. Here is a reference to know more about CBD
