CBD oil for anxiety

Posted , 6 users are following.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone successfully used CBD oil to manage their anxiety? I have regular therapy sessions with a good trusted CBT Councillor but my anxiety seemed to turn into a rather unnerving panic attack a few weeks a go which seems to have triggered off my anxiety again.

The GP has prescribed Sertraline but I'm a bit wary of taking it as it gave me vivid nightmares last time and I'd prefer something natural.

Dear will; I tried cbd oil ,and it was no good..I might not have got the right brand, or Quantity..if you check online, its so confusing...all saying their stuff is the best...and the price of it is over the top...I think its a money making scam...to be honest...and if you go for the stuff with the THC in it...your likly to cause more trouble for yourself. like paronia. ,depression, and more anxiety...Just do your own research..I am just giving you my view..x

Well thats very helpful.  I did suspect just what you say so i have held off this change for a while.

It is strange that some people say it works and for others nothing.

i am afraid to upset the applecart so sticking with my symptoms hoping i will feel better if imget mirtazapine out of my system.  Unfortunately on warfarin i need to be careful about everything i use.  Then having had gallbladder removed to try to resolve nausea unsuccessfully i just dont know what else to do.

It is a bit confusing and yes, from my research it's essential you get the right product from a reputable supplier. I haven't purchased anything yet but will be trying it very soon. For me I'm looking for focus as this seems to work for me. I'm hearing that a good quality 100% CBD oil is good for that along with regular therapy sessions.

I'm not expecting a miracle cure but it's worth a try as I don't really fancy the antidepressants

      Will keep you posted.

To be honest it probably depends on the person.. I tried it for two months and I still got worse. But I know some people who it’s made it go away immediately once they used it, but again that depends on the person.
