CBT is great and can really help but it's only as good as the therapist helping you and the commitment you can give to practice it. In most studies CBT has been proven to be more effective than medication.

CBT saved my life. I got through my anxiety without meds thanks to CBT.

However you've got to be prepared to face your fear head on and it's really uncomfortable and difficult in the beginning!

Definitely worth it in the end! Xxx

I have tried CBT before and it really helped me.

Although you need to make sure you put it to practice once treatment is over.

    Good luck x

    Hi!

In CBT they teach you ways to cope with your anxiety which slowly starts to lessen your symptoms. Glad you are going to start! It might not feel like much at first, but you'll see it start to work.
