I'm Currently on a CBT online course which i feel isn't really very helpful, been off work since June With Depression, as soon as work contact me my anxiety goes through the roof.

Am looking for another job, but when you have been somewhere nearly 20 years its hard.

Sometimes i wish id just die in my sleep so i wouldn't have to go through this

Hi shaun, don't give up! I feel sorry that you have depression and that you currently can't work, that must be so tough! You need to focus at the moment on you. Did something go on in your workplace to kick this depression off or was it unrelated? CBT can help with the anxiety but not if they are not helping with your underlying cause of the depression which could have been tripped by something tiny and not your work. If work have sent you on this course the thought of speaking to them could cause you more anxiety as you may feel you are being watched and won't want to talk. Try asking for well being support, you may benefit more than just CBT. If you have just started though don't forget this could take a while to help you. Good luck and let me know how you get on.
