Cefixime aka Suprax

Hi, I wondered if anyone developed very bad diarrhea from this antibiotic? I know it's a common side effect but the question is how bad is bad?

I got watery diarrhea on day 3 of a 7 day course for fluid behind the eardrum. It concerns me because it was very watery and Id say over 24 hours I had it at least 12 times. I don't know what to do . My doctor's office won't answer their phone. I don't want the diarreah to become C-diffile and chance getting an inflamed colon which can be fatal...nor do I want a middle ear infection to progress to something worse . Has anyone experienced this particular antibiotic and / or the diarreah( which is more than mild).
