Celexa strange side effects

Hi everyone!!!

Does celexa raise your blood pressure or affect it at all? I find that my blood pressure increases slightly then returns to normal.

Also any problems with frequent urination, I just started on 10mg tabs at night and I keep having the urge to pee and even after I pee I have to get up again to pee this happens all night like as if I have a UTI or that my bladder doesn't empty correctly.

Doesn't happen during the day just at night after I take celexa.

Please offer insights!!! Thanks

yea the frequent urination was annoying as hell and I still have it 7 weeks later, also developing now a small headache predominantly in the back of my head but then again my sleep pattern has been off and I changed the times I take my medicine, and now after that terrible cpl days I switched back so could be from that

Thanks for responding, yeah the frequent urination was definitely affecting my sleep so I cut down the tabs to 5mg to see if that'll help because I barely get any sleep nowadays.

I take mine at night as when I take it during the day it makes me disoriented, sleepy and spaced out.

I have the "pee problems" also. It really affects my sleep too. I'll wake up, turn over and feel like I have to pee...but I go to the bathroom and don't go much. Then, I can't sleep!

Thanks for the response, it's really frustrating. Any issues with high blood pressure on celexa? I find that ever since I started celexa my blood pressure has been a bit high (pre hypertension).
