Celiac or not?

I've suffered from constipation for years. Had a colonoscopy which was clear. 4 years ago, I went to see a nutritionist who advised me to send some samples to a private clinic. The results came back as having antibodies for gluten so I followed a non gluten diet. I must say I didn't see much improvements in my symptoms. I was told that was for life but decided to do the test again and that was ok. So I resumed eating gluten. I am now feeling very tired and every day is a struggle. I do not suffer from constipation any more, rather the opposite. Should I take a blood test or just stop eating gluten altogether to see if I get my energy back? Any response would be very welcome.

I think I would take blood test before I stop eating gluten.

Please, please, please, carry on eating gluten and have the blood test. It always makes you feel better when you finally know what you are dealing with.

I'm sure you want to be sure whether you have coeliac disease or not. It's not just enough to continue eating gluten until you have the blood test, you need to continue on a normal diet until you get the blood test AND gastroscopy. The blood test alone is NEVER enough for a diagnosis.

They're right.  Time to get pushing for tests as soon as you can, then you can stop eating gluten.
