Cement!!!!!

Can anyone enlighten me re having to have the cement re-done? Is it another major op or can it be done with keyhole surgery? Thanks

    Look forward to replies from others! No idea. Don't even know if I am having cement or not next week.

    That is such a shame. If it's the stem then I think it is major where as if the top part is loose it could be a lot easier but keyhole no idea....sorry.

    I have no idea on key hole or removing the implant and doing it over. Mine is non cemented. Best of luck. Your surgeon would know

    Mine was cemented and the stem became loose and did end up breaking. I had the cement removed and my new hip is not cemented. Good luck!

      Golly that's amazing that the stem actually broke without damaging your leg bone.
