Cervical Ectropion help

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi,

I was diagnosed with a cervical ectropion over 2 years ago. Went in to the hospital for appts to make sure it wasn't anything more serious and was all ok. The past few months I have been bleeding a lot more (currently on the coil and have been advised by the doctor the bleeding isn't related to this). I bleed the majority of the times I have sex which has really put me off and sometimes bleed small amounts for no reason. I went to the doctors today and they said due to the severity of the ectropion even walking can knock it and cause bleeding. They're referring me to the gynaecology department to see if there's anything they can do. After reading up on it, it looks like they will probably have to cauterize the cells but the doctor said even that may not help. Has anyone had any experience with this/any advice on what to do?

Really appreciate any help.
