Cervical Mucus Discharge Question

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have started to notice slight air bubbles in my discharge. When I am on my period I have noticed these small tiny bubbles mixed in with the blood. When I am ovulating there are no bubbles. I am done ovulating now but still getting discharge. It is mostly clear or a slightly yellowish color but there are some air bubbles in the mucus. There is no smell to the discharge. I do have Irritated Bowel Syndrome and my stomach is always gassy. I also have microscopichematuria where the membrane around my kidneys are thinner than others. In addition to that I also have proteinuria where there are small amounts of protein in my urine. My urine will often have bubbles. Does anyone know if these things can be connected?

have u been swabbed for vaginal infections as those can cause bubbly discharge

What infections cause some bubbles in discharge? It is just inconsistent and weird. I am not at risk of having a STD. Just a history of spilling protein in urine (I often see bubbles in my urine) and IBS symptoms.

trich can cause bubbly discharge but as u say if u are not at risk of an std than this is most likely not the case considering u have other medical issues it would be best to speak to your usual doctor it may be nothing to worry about

Thank you for response! It is just a confusing time for me since things arent consistent. Are there cases where BV causes some bubbles in discharge? I found some articles that suggested that. Another question, do you know if it is normal to have discharge after ovulation ends? I typically have clear to light yellow discharge with no smell that is kind of watery/stretchy after my dry days.

i have been suffering bv on and off for 7 years now and had no bubbles infact its like water and dosnt smell pleasant and its white i dont think u have bv u can usually smell it and yes u can have a yellow discharge as u get nearer to your period thats classed as normal as long as no bad smell or itchy irritation etc

Okay thank you. My discharge doesn't smell at all. Sometimes when it dries on a panty liner I will smell a hint of white vinegar or if I work out/in a humid environment it smells a little musty (like body odor). When it is fresh on the toilet paper though it has no smell what so ever. My discharge also always look more yellow on toilet paper but if I manually expect it is white.

vinegary is normal and the musty is most likely cause by sweat glands i dont think u have anything concerning going on by way of infection or anything from wat yr describing sounds normal by all means visit your doctor to double check but u dont think u need to rush for an appointment

I made an appointment with a good OB in my area in September, that was the earliest time slot. Thank you so much for responding to this feed. I have been wondering what has been causing all this stuff. Your response kinda help put my mind to ease a little.

One last question, can urine mix in with your discharge?

the urethra is outside the vagina discharge is produced by the cervix and glands inside the vagina so they wouldnt mix togeather

obviously they could mix in underwear by not wiping excess urine away after weeing so could give a yellow tint that way

Okay thank you. I lied, one more thing, I have also noticed some red finger like projections on my vulva area. Is that normal?
