hi good to hear from you. sorry to hear about your headaches which can be really bad crunching sounds are not nice have you tried pain management clinics they are quite helpful. i think they help you understand your pain and give advice about medication?  they also tell you about exersises you can do to help i have the pain the eye (not nice)!! sad  crunching is where the bone is in contact with bone what consultant told me! but if you have never had it before it can be upsetting and worrying . do you go to physio? aslo you might want to try accupuncture that some times helps.mine crunches every timei move my neck and also with it comes dizziness!! i found you cant sit you cant stand too long because you get pain in your neck!! i hope everything is ok with xrays!! and hope to hear from you soon and take care    rolleyes

hi samanthe91573 have you tried ginger is good for arthritis pain it might help? if you dont want to take a lot of medication try lavender  also omega 3 is good for pain as it has oil in it it is good for joints it will take a little bit to see a difference but it does help! put heat on your neck that helps a lot if you get one of those that you put in the microwave i hope it eases light exercises if you can. i know how hard that is! try and just sit with the heat onyour neck and just close your eyes and it might shift the eye pain as well  the heat will do wonders for neck muscles!!! well hope this helps you a little  bit rolleyes

The whole neck issue caused a varicose vein in my neck, the left side. Had it for many years, seen specialists. All I get is pain killers and a promisary appointment for physio... I have found a lot of help from Nattokinase and Serapeptase. You can look that up... I can't take ibuprofane as it doesn't agree with my BP/Heart medication... I think I am fairly well and will not let any of this get me down...
