cervical spondylosis with myelopathy?

Hey all,

I'm having a full spinal MRI next week. From what I've researched, I match most of the symptoms of cervical spondylitis with myelopathy. I'm just after some general information of what it's like to have this.

I have heavy legs, trouble walking/loss of balance, arm aches, neck aches. Actually my whole body feels like it weighs 1000lbs but it's adapted. Shock feeling. I also drop things a lot.

I haven't been diagnosed yet but I'm thinking that's what my neurologist thinks as she mentioned my spine but wouldn't say exactly what she thought.

I've had the MRI/CT of brain, all the bloodwork, and the nerve conduction test. That was all ok.

I'm only 29 and kind of worried so any advice would be nice. Thank you.

I have been diagnosed with what you are saying.  I have had 5 neurosurgeries in past 15 years.  They will not do surgery unless you have a ruptured disc.  They will probably send you to physical therapy and give you some steroids for the imlamation.  Feel Better!

Thank you so much! I'm actually looking forward to the treatment as it's been a long years journey of going to different docs trying to figure out what the hecks going on.

This is my 3rs neuro but the first to lay me down, lift my leg, and say, "wow, that's heavy" I'm thinking, that's what I've been saying! Lol

I was worried about surgery as well so thanks again for the input!
