not had a relapse for a while as i have been managing it well, do some of you get a flare up where you dont feel necessarily tired but more anxious and on edge, i wake fine then it comes on me around lunch, ache all down one arm, dyspepsia cant eat for days, really anxious and on edge so the adrenaline makes me feel non sleepy, difficulty sleeping, spaced out cant think straight , feel lightheaded and dizzy at times, and legs tingling an lips and arms and all limbs feel like lead weight even when lying down. started sunday woke floored couldnt keep awake, monday felt spaced out and tues the anxiety was horrendous to the point i just wanted anything to stop the feelings i felt. i have been over doing things currently and for the last 4 weeks the symptoms have been slowly coming on where i couldnt think clearly, odd days of feeling spaced out and fatigued, then boom it hit me monday. my question is does it sometime effect you where your more edgy than fatigued, although i was very tired yesterday. i have been in touch with gp last 2 days on the trot due to feeling so bad, and they have said its my CFS and increased my anxiety meds which have helped slightly as i no longer feel on edge as much. but weird how i wake feeling fine then it comes on me . any advice is greatly appreciated thanks everyone x

hi Nichola, I'm not sure I've got advice but I certainly recognise anxiety as a major trigger for m.e. symptoms.

I find there are three main triggers: Overactivity, catching a cold/virus, and anxiety. If I could avoid those three, I'd probably find it much more bearable. Some chance.

    Hope you're feeling better.
