    Hi Michael,

At my surgery it says long term health conditions are priority and wonder if you have been given different information. Were you told this at your GP's ? I don't have the flu jab myself.

I asked my GP if I could get a flu jab free of charge on the NHS and she agreed to include me as a chronic health condition patient. So, I'd suggest you ask your doctor directly because it appears it's them (and not the reception staff who book the vaccination appointments) who flag on your record that you fall into the free jabs category. (The joke in my case is that it turns out my surgery only have a small amount of the vaccine this year and have prioritised older people for their limited supplies, but if I want to pay for it at my local pharmacy there's no shortage. FFS!!)
