Chamomile for GAD and/or Panic Disorder

Posted , 5 users are following.

Has anyone had any success in using herbs to treat their GAD or generalized anxiety disorder, specifically Chamomile? If not Chamomile, have you found anything else (natural) that has been helpful? I just got off benzos after 30 years due to tolerance and I am looking for natural things that might help and aid in my recovery. TIA for any replies--

For my anxiety and panic attacks I use Rescue Remedy and have done for over 15yrs. Have you tried it?

Wow 30 years! Great job getting off! Three things help: Messages, Epsom salt baths and magnesium supplements.

Here are seven standard questions that I ask everyone: What drugs were you on? What doses? How long where you on them? Did you taper or cold turkey? How are you feeling today? Did anything help you during the withdrawal process? Do you experience “brain zaps” when trying to fall asleep?

Massages, hot tub, sauna all seem to help people.
