Change from 30g to 40g

So i was cruising along on 30g for the last 18 months or so. Not naive, or cocky, enough to think i had the depression and anxiety beat, but certainly not expecting a fairly quick spiral

back downwards for no apparent reason. Shockingly tired all the time, no matter how much sleep i have is new symptom. All of the other self loathing inner dialogue is tediously familiar.

Doctor has suggested upping to 40 which i will start tomorrow. Been a while since i have had those aide effects from starting or increasing dosage. Anyone been from 30 to 40

recently?

    Hi Owen

Sometimes its not an increase people need, but a decrease. If the meds are too high for the person then you’ll get continuous side effects - might be why you feel tired so much. Lots of people do struggle on 40mg. Always difficult to know which way to go though, but worth jiggling around with the dose until you find the correct one.

Make sure you don’t use any screens before bed either - it’ll have a huge impact on sleep quality.

Get hold of a book called At Last a Life by Paul David.
