Change of color in glans, please help

Posted , 4 users are following.

I have this brownish spot in my glans for about a year and a half and I don't know what it is.

Sometimes I wake up with a mild pain in this particular area but then it passes in about 5~10min, this pain occurs occasionally, not often.

Someone can tell me if this is some king of initial cancer or something bad please.

Also, the skin in this brownish area is not smooth like the rest of my glans.

I'm afraid of going in the hospital because here in Brasil the covid outbreak is huge and I only have access to public health which is a mess.

Thanks in advance for someone who is kind enough to respond.

    Hey there my friend

It is bad here in Florida also. Just be careful. To me what I think you have is a case oaf balanitis. The head looks very irritated and for that brown spot. It took me a little while to see it. That is just the pigments in your skin. Our body does change sometimes.

Us a fungal cream wash with warm water only. Try that and see what happens......Ken

Thanks Ken for the reply, I'm applying Ketoconazole for about a week now with no improvements whatsoever.

One of my hypothesis is that I sleep on my stomach so the pressure that I do to my penis could be the cause of this bruise, because it is located exactly in the pressure point if I lay down on my stomach to sleep.

      Hey there.

Ketoconazole will not work on a fungal infection. Get a anti-fungal cream. That may help. Try sleeping on your side or maybe raising your knee up some to take the pressure off the center of the bod

      Good luck....Ken

Ketoconazole is an anti- fungal cream my doctor also had recommended it to me. I suppose it is irritation. Did it resolve?

yes I know that is a fungal cream but they are different rashes cashed by different bacteria. If you do not see any improvement stop using it. Go to the store and get something for jock itch

      Good luck

Don't worry, i agree with kenneth. The brown spot is totally normal, I also have some. Do you have a circumcised penis? In the photo I do not see it well, with the glans permanently discovered, balanitis is cured
