BUT however this week after picking up my latest new pack......the following morning coming to start my new pack erm well they were Blue? WHY? Are they the same ? But different colour? Why says nothing in the leaflet does any one know why they have 2different colours? Although I have felt extremely tired come later on in the afternoon?!.

Anyone know why they have different colours?

    Hi Shelly

I remember one month i had that brand (forget the name) they seemed ok for me although i do get different results from different brands. Last month i had " Crescent Pharma" in pink box noticed a big difference in my mood and anxiety levels so much so i changed to different brand half way through

I tried to send you a link that shows the colors of different mg of sertraline but it would not go through the moderator.

I would expect that it is a different manufacturer from the white ones, and each manufacturer uses their own binders/fillers in the tablets/capsules which can affect how you absorb the drug.  That can lead to new side affects.  Call up the pharmacy and ask if they just changed brands.

I had problems with the generic and asked my doctor to put brand name necessary on my prescription. I have good insurance and they pay a considerable amount of the cost and I pay the rest. Last time I got my 100mg for one month it was about $98. But it was a tremendous difference to me while others have no problem with generic. Hope you start to feel better soon. I have been on 50 for 2 weeks and 100 for 5 weeks as well. Still not all the way back to normal but my doctor is wanting to increase dose after I have been on 100mg for 6 weeks. Don't like the adjustment period when increasing doses, you start to feel bad all over again until the medicine levels out again. I would rather stay on the lowest effective dose so when the time comes to taper off, I won't have far to drop down and hopefully with the least discontinuation syndrome. Sending blessings your way! Shirley
