changing from evorel sequi patches to femseven pstches

Hi everyone, went back to Dr today as my anxiety was horrendous on the progesterone part of the evorel patches. Panic attacks, flushes, dizziness etc. Dr has now Changed me to femseven sequi patches. I thought I only had one more of the progesterone patch left of the evorel and thought as I am off work this week I would b able to ride it out. Unfortunately when I came home o realised I had 2 patches left to use.😭. Really can't cope with the thought of taking both. Does anyone know if i could just swap over now or do I need to finish both progesterone patches first ,?

Hi Joy. Pleased to hear you have seen your doctor after your struggles. I don't know the answer to your question but my sister used to sometimes skip a few of her 'blue' hrt pills as they turned her into a monster!
If it was me I would leave the old progesterone patches, have a 2 day break, then start the new patches. You may have some spotting.
Could you maybe ask the pharmacist?
Hope you are soon feeling well again x

Hi joy Im on evorel Conti patches, Ive just started my 3rd month. I seem to be doing
OK but recently started having dizzy spells, nothing else too noticeable other than
a few aches in my legs. I don't suffer with hot flushes I'm cold all the time! Not sure if that's a side
effect of the patches. Let me know how you get on with the femseven patches. Im not sure if I feel any benefits
On my current patches Thank you Jayne

Will do Jayne.....I'm hoping that as it is a different progesterone, it might b better. I know different things work for different people. Here's hoping 😃

I recently took off my patch after reading up on my symptoms ( aching leg pains, depression, no sex drive, weight gain due to water retention, fatigue and heavy periods) I actually felt better before the patches.
I think I have excess estrogen. Booked back with my GP to request progesterone cream in the hope it will balance my hormones. Very doubtful my GP will give me the cream, i heard in the UK its not available for pescription on the NHS.
