Hey guys! I haven't been on her in a little over a month. Still have most of my symptoms and was doing a tiny bit better but completely crashed this weekend. It is so upsetting to put in all your effort and energy towards getting better, to being bed bound again. I was dxed with pots at one point but talking to others realized it could just be part of this nasty virus. All of the sudden fatigue has hit me out of no where. So bad that it is hard to lift my phone up. When the fatigue hits, it causes my body to ache so bad it feels like I am going to pass out. Ug. Chest pain and digestion problems as well currently. Didn't forget about this forum, officially hit 5 months yesterday.

Hi Christina,
It's good to hear from you and just so sorry you've been hit with a bad lapse like this. Just want to reassure you that this is a VERY common course for the virus, this kind of zig-zag recovery where you feel like you can be making progress at one point only to be hit again suddenly and feel like you're back to square one. Want you to know that in no way are you back to square one even though it feels this way, these lapses come and then they go again and the lapses can't harm you or be as intense for as long as when you first got hit with the virus, even though it feels that way at first - these lapses usually pass over quicker and quicker and become less and less as time goes on.
Things are going to get better Christina, 5 months is still in the recovery phase so just take things easy and remember you've been through the worst of this and even if it takes a bit of time for full recovery to come, you are on the road and won't have to go through anything as intense or for as long as what you've went through up until now.
Take things slow and just rest and focus on just getting through each day when feeling this way - and don't put any pressure on yourself, this is not your fault and it's normal for the virus to present this way, and it DOES get better and go away 100% given time.
Take care and thinking of you,
Craig
