Chemical in eye

hello, yesterday i got some cleaner in my eye. i rinsed my eye out for probably an hour or so if not more and it felt fine for a few hours. however, after a couple of hours of watching tv , it starting to feel uncomfortable and get a bit red. now today it is fairly red i. the inner eye corner. there is a small pinkish splotch near my iris as well and it feel a bit like there is pressure behind my eye. no pain just uncomfortable. i have no vision problem whatsever; i see lerfectly fine, no blurriness or spots. should i be worried?

    Look, it may seem obvious, but you should see an ophthalmologist. Even though you have rinsed your eye, and even though the sensation is temporarily gone, there may still be some chemical residue or you may have an eye injury. If an appointment with the ophthalmologist is going to take too long to happen, try applying a lubricating eye drops to the affected eye. But be sure to seek medical attention! Get well!
