Chemo induced neuropathy

I have been in remission from Multiple Myeloma for 18 months. I know that chemo can cause neuropathy. I have been reading many of the posts and am interested in some of the treatments many of you have tried. I'm in the USA and like most, seems all the docs want to do is give a pill. My legs are now twitching all the time and at night I'm now having to sleep in another bed because my bed shakes. Thus my wife can't sleep...so I would like to know how well your outcomes have been. I have been reading much about using Calm (Mag Citrate) B Complex, Milk Thistle and ALA.

I have polyneuropathy and also live in the states. The doctors insisted in giving me anti depressants for the pain which made it worse then they gave me an anti ceizure drug, gabapentin which is also worthless. I have heard from very knowledgeable people that the reason for that is because doctors get a bonus for every drug they prescribe that is on their list. A doctor also told me that .. Good luck

Thanks for your input. I understand that Cymbalta, Gabapentin (Neurontin) and Lyrica are commonly used but I want to try alternatives to those drugs. So we shall see what happens
