Chest bubble pocket when eating and drinking

Every time I eat or drink I get this knot like a bubble or pocket in my chest. The only way to clear t is by belching and hope it clears.I belch a lot afterwards. It happens all the time. I eat slow and try not to talk to not take in air. I am on Prilosec which does not seem to help. It will also come on during the day for no reason or if I just drink water. I get a little anxious before eating and this does not help. Please help. I had a Barium Esophagus xray and everything is normal. I had a stool test and there is high fat in my stool.

Sorry to hear you are dealing with this issue.  There are a number of things that can cause this globus sensation.  It appears you have ruled out an esophageal pocket with the Barium swallow xray.   You will likely need an MRI to determine the cause.  It could be a sliding hiatal hernia, a thyroid issue, a gallbladder problem or an unknown growth in that area.  I would normally make some suggestions but this appears to be so serious I recommend you get the MRI right away.  Keep us updated.
