does anyone else suffer burning in chest from reflux that goes up as far as armpits. it's driving me mad. ppis not helping at all even highest dose.

yes I've got the same problem and my throat burns as well and I'm taking a higher dose of medication for it last week I saw my gastro doctor hes going to do another scop but said really the dose of medication should be stopping acid from coming up

it's so frustrating. my gastro doctor put me up to highest dose 5 weeks ago but I'm still burning daily with very little relief. I wish I cud find something that wud bring relief.

I've had it in the roof of my mouth and my back. I sympathise, it's rough. I now drink coke and take a couple of gaviscon tablets a day and it has gotten me of prescribed medication. I hope you get it sorted soon, keep hoping, mine got better xxx

tks for reply. it's certainly so tough. it's like a fire constant in my chest. Hope you continue to improve.
