Chest cancer in a young non smoker? Please help

Hey everyone,

I’m a 18 y/o male,overweight,never had lung issues before,non smoker. I’ve been having chest pains since late december. Just recently I started coughing aswell. I’ve had a chest xray which came out fine. Am i at risk?

My anxiety is eating me up,please help me

    Hi

    Firstly calm down, the chest pains could be anything from anxiety to an infection. I would suggest seeing your gp and see what they advise.

    to be honest I think it is your anxiety as I get this but I have asthma and that can flare up when I am not feeling great.

      Thanks for the reply,i might be a bit too anxious.The gp said im fine but i have an eery feeling he missed something
