Chest discomfort on the right side?

I'm not sure what's going on in my chest, but a lot of the pain I feel is on the right side, it seems to be triggered by my right arm position and posture.

I often get random flare ups of chest discomfort and tightness in the sternum area of my chest, and when I lift up my right arm, my right chest muscle feels sore and tight, and it starts causing heart palpitations.

Does anyone know what the underlying cause of these symptoms can be? Is musculoskeletal or is it inflammation?
