Chest infections

Hi Not sure if this is the correct group.

For the last 6 months i am bring up lots of phlem, had 3 anti biotics and 3 x rays.

Nothing shown on the first 2 xrays but this time the doctor noticed something and said to come back for another x ray in 6 weeks.

I was wondering since the other x rays showed nothing and this time there was something on the x ray(which the doctor said was a good find) Could this be the early stages of lung cancer?

also i have ashama if this helps, also lost my appitite and my breathing is bad but could be due to Ashama.

Thanks for replys in advance.

Are you getting chest/back pain when you breath in deeply. If so it could be pleurisy, which would show up on an xray. Cured by mega antibiotics (been there/ done that at age 19)

      Hi Brian,

No but i am getting pains on the left hand side of my ribs and to the back left shoulder blade but not when i breath in. They thought it was pleurisy before but none of the anti biotics worked and then they put it down to my acid from my barretts.

Just a bit concerned what they have seen on the x ray although i guess if they thought it was cancer they would have me in straight away.

Will just have to sit and hope everything comes back open and they find out why all the phelm and breathing difficulties. I feel like i can't get a deep breath.

    Hi,

Your story is exactly like mine.

I'm now being seen by a chest specialist, insist on it!

Ask for a CT scan this will show up abnormalities.

They suspect Allergic alveolitis for me as I have inflammation of the alveoli in lungs.

This can be caused by different allergens, Farmers lung, bird fanciers lung etc

    Look up Extrinsic
