Hi Abbey.   i can understand your  problem, but it is quite important for you to  see a  doctor and explain what is happening to you  .  even if it turns out to be   something simple,  it is best to be sure.  Only doctors are qualified to give diagnosis,so   i ask you to ignor your mums advice and go  for yourself.      best wishes  hope everything turns out ok

You have a right to seek medical care and advice. Can you make yourself an appointment with the GP for a check up and not go with your mother? You could try calling NHS Choices on 111 (it's free to call and made for non-emergencies) for advice and they'll tell you whether it is worth investigating further. If it's causing you problems or making you worry then it can't hurt to call and ask for some advice.

    Good luck!

Abbey, I agree completely with Reg1945.  You MUST NOT rely on those of us who read your message.  You MUST see a doctor or hospital, even if it makes your mother angry.  I am a retired professor of a scientific subject, and if I had even a slight medical worry I would immediately see a doctor or hospital, even if I had to just walk in off the street and ask for help from them.
