I woke about an hour ago with pain in the middle of my chest, it comes and goes, first time this has happened. it affects my right side of my jaw and ear!!! I've never had indigestion before so I don't want to call Dr in case that's all.it is.

If you live in the UK phone 111 they can ask you the relevant questions to know if it is potentially a problem you need to get looked at.

It will all depend on whereabouts the pain is, whether its radiating across chest etc, how old you are, i personally if it's the first time of getting chest pain and its not been diagnosed I would contact my GP or like the other poster said ring 111 if your uk based, let us know how you get on, remember chest pain mostly is caused by muscle spasms but any new pain should be checked out
