Chest pain

i have been having chest pain for about the last 8 months, feeling sweaty too. I went yo doctors first time, my blood pressure was slightly up 145/87. i am usually around 110/78. doctor said my heart resting rate was 130 . Second time chest pain worse blood pressure was 150/85 and my resting heart rate 152. i was sent to hospital to br checked and after six hours my heart rate was acceptable and sent home. i can feel slight chest pain and back pain when i ve walked a fair distance or on the move, i.e housework. i can get breathless, tired also. So recently i had an ecg and heart scan which were fine saying no heart muscles were damaged everything was efficient. so my question is could i have angina or is that not possible as my ecg and scan were fine. Obviously i am grateful they can back great but i know something is wrong somewhere as i am getting chest pain still, dont feel right, pulse is up, feel sicky tired. i.only have one coffee in morning, couple glasses of wine a week, eat mostly healthy, not overweight. i am 46 year old female, never had all these symptons before and i got nothing to be stressed over. i dont want to feel like i am wasting the doctors time but i know something isnt right. Anybody advise?

Hi Susan did they do blood tests as well.

If you had ecg and echocardiagram and they obviously checked you over what did they say was causing the chest pains, anxiety can cause chest pain definitely and so can certain exercises that can cause muscle strains

Are the pains always in the same place and have you a BP machine at home so you can check it at home to see if it's raised due to white coat syndrome then at least you could allay that worry.

Bear in mind that yours is not drastically raised either.

Your also at the age where your possibley approaching the menopause as well
