Chest Pain/Ecocardiogram result opinions

Posted , 2 users are following.

Would like opinions on my recent Echocardiogram. Doctor seems to think test results are normal, but i am still experiencing symptoms and also noticed upon personal review that my LVEDD seems abnormally large. Here are my results:

Mitral Valve: Leaflet thickness and mobility are normal. No mitral

valve

prolapse is detected. Trace mitral regurgitation is

detected.

Aortic Valve: The aortic valve is trileaflet. Leaflet thickness and

mobility are normal. No significant aortic stenosis

is

detected. No aortic regurgitation is detected.

Tricuspid Leaflet thickness and mobility are normal. Trace

tricuspid

Valve: regurgitation is detected. The estimated pulmonary

artery

systolic pressure is normal.

Pulmonic Valve: The pulmonic valve is normal in structure and

function. No

pulmonic valve stenosis is detected. Trace pulmonic

regurgitation is detected.

Left Atrium: The left atrium is normal in size. The interatrial

septum

appears normal.

Left Ventricle: Mild LV dilation (LVEDD 5.94 cm) The estimated left

ventricular ejection fraction is 55%. No overt

regional

wall motion abnormalities are detected. Left

ventricular

diastolic function is normal.

Right Atrium: The right atrium is normal in size.

Right Normal right ventricular cavity size and systolic

Ventricle: function.

Pericardium: There is no pericardial effusion.

Pleura: No significant pleural effusion is detected.

Miscellaneous: The IVC is less than 2.1 cm and is > 50% collapsible

consistent with a right atrial pressure of

approximately 3

mmHg. The aortic root diameter is normal.

Conclusions

Summary

Mild LV dilation.

Estimated ejection fraction 55% with no overt regional wall motion

abnormalities.

Normal RV cavity size and systolic function.

Trace mitral and pulmonic regurgitation.

Wow that's a verrrry long post and quite hard for people to interpret. Do you have the image of the results?

Also can you tell me if your issues have resolved?

Lol yes it is but basically I just wanted to know how bad people thought of the LVEDD measurement of 5.93cm.  The doctors seems to not think its too serious but from my research it is definitely abnormally large so I am concerned considering I am only 28 years old.
