CHEST PAIN FOR 5 MONTHS

Hi, I am a 22 year old female. About 6 months ago, I woke up and had severe chest pains coming from what I think was my lungs. Every time I went to breath in I would get very intense sharp pains only on my left side of the chest. I went to the doctors about 2 weeks after it wouldn't subside and got an ECG, tons of blood tests, X-rays. They couldn't give me and answer. Now, about 6 months later I have not the same pain I had, but there is a constant pain on the left side of my chest. It is sharp, but always noticeable. I get very scared as I don't know what it could be. I occasionally get what I assume is serious acid reflux feeling in the center of my chest too. Going back to the docs August 11 and will bring it up with my doctor.

Yes my pain is in the same area. Although I take tums when the pain gets bad and it doesn't help much. Maybe I need a stronger medicine to help?
