Chest pain for almost 2 months now

I am 29 female, 127 pounds, 5,4 foot

Don't smoke, Don't drink alchohol or caffeine, cut down on sugar, Don't do any drugs.

It started with a gastritis attack which landed me in hospital a few months ago, now that, that is cured after almost 3 months of using omeprazole (PPI) which indicates that it should only be taken for 2 weeks (doctors never told me) now I have this chest pain on the left which radiates to my arm and I also have a sinking sensation that feels like my heart is stopping. I have had 2 ECG's and a chest X-Ray, also ultrasound of abdomen and an endoscopy...Every blood test available and doctors can't find anything. I am not on any medication right now since nothing is helping me. I was prescribed valium when I had the gastritis (missdiagnosed as anxiety) so I tried taking them to see if anxiety is causing this pain and it does not help. Anti - acids do not help either. I am not stressed at all just miserable that something is going on in my chest and everyone is telling me that it is in my head. What could this be? Should I see a cardiologist or should I ask my doctor to book me into hospital to have a full checkup of my entire body? or am I being silly? I am starting to feel like I should just ignore my symptoms and if I drop dead then oh well too bad.

    Hi I am experiencing the same exact symptoms for 5 weeks now day and night and I can’t even sleep or eat well because when I eat I can’t swallow my food since the pressure/squeezing and pain is so bad. It started all on July 13 when I got home from shopping. I have gotten a brain scan, x Ray of chest, chest scan, and stomach ct scan, deep blood work test and all has came back normal. I am desperate for answers.

      Hello wendy, was just wondering if you have been feeling better yet since I have also been feeling chest pain since July 16. I don't know if it could be anxiety since i also have felt shooting pains in my sides when exhaling. The last time I went to the doc he said it was anxiety and prescribed me hydroxyzine pamoate 5mg and although they helped a little my chest pain has been a constant dull ache that moved from the left side of my chest to the right and then to the middle.

      Hello Luis, unfortunately no I have not gotten any answers. They keep telling me it’s anxiety but I know it’s not. It’s been 8 weeks now I will be seeing an ENT specialist to look down my throat because I feel tightness there along with the chest tightness, I have a scheduled endoscopy to look from my throat to my esophagus soon. They told me it can possible by severe gastritis. I also made an appointment with a pulmonologist to rule out any lung related illness.

      Yes, these symptoms have completely ruined my life. They haven't gotten any better and everyday I lose hope that I will ever return to being normal. sad The day I started feeling chest pain I was unloading my truck and I think I may have strained or hurt something in my chest. However, I have also had crackling in my ears when I swallow and lightheadedness/headache. I also have a minor cough. I just hope its not a lung problem, since I'm still too young. I hope you feel better soon.

      Hi Luis, did you ever get to the root of the problem?! I am still suffering from the symptoms and I feel like I’m dying. I have lost hope.

      I have the crackling sound too when I swallow.
