Chest Pain, Hiatal Hernia

I have recently been diagnosed with a 3cm hiatal hernia, i am on Omeprazole 20mg a day which helps with the heartburn but i still get chronic belching. For about 6 months now i have been getting severe chest pain, like a tightening/crushing sensation at rest. It lasts about 5 minutes, someimes less, sometimes more but i'd say it never lasts more than 10 minutes. It often wakes me up in the middle of the night. I don't have any heartburn or burning sensations of any kind with this, i am wondering if a hiatal hernia can cause this tightening/crushing type pain or if it could be something more serious? I have had multiple ecg's, all normal. 24 hour monitor also, which picked up a few ectopic beats. I have ectopic beats every single day, sometimes hundreds but have been told they are benign. I am due an echocardiogram soon, just waiting on date. I am 32 years old and used to be very active but have gained alot of weight in a small amount of time and do not exercise much at all now. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Dan

Not really, i have been trying to pinpoint what triggers it but i rarely get it after eating or even during the day, maybe once or twice. It is mainly in the middle of the night and wakes me up.
