What did you eat / drink? Do you have a history of pancreatitis?

This is probably a question for your GI or primary, especially if your symptoms are acute.

I will say that I do experience chest pains with pancreatitis / gastritis, but it is not localized to the sternum. For me, it is the entire chest cavity.

When you have CP then acid reflux comes with the territory. Unfortunately, instead of feeling like heartburn it feels like chest pain. It can be so severe, it sends you to the emergency but it's bile stuck in the ducts. Usually antacids calm it down, sometimes leaning forward will too but laying down will make it worse. Before I knew I had CP and saw the pancreas specialist I was very scared but once it was explained to me, I was fine. Foods are huge triggers especially acidity foods, therefore I stay away from them. I hope you feel better soon.

CP is chronic pancreatitis. Even if you don't have CP then bile is coming up when vomiting which creates acid reflux/heartburn and feels like chest pain. You can see a GI specialist.
