It all started when I woke up in the morning to cycle with my uncle so before cycling i took a banana and as i swallowed the banana i felt a stomach pain like it was cramping and had to stop moving for about 5 minutes after that i brushed it off and we went to a vacation and when we came back i had a burning sensation in my chest and thought maybe it's the way i was sitting fast forward we came home and i was about to sleep i felt a twitch in my chest and thought maybe it was my heart palpitating and got really scared but brushed it off and went to sleep then the next day I felt a burning sensation so my mom decided to take me to the hospital and as I bent over to tie my shoe I felt a liquid like drop moving down my chest and panicked that my heart started beating really fast and was rushed to the emergency services and they did tests like ct scan, ecg, stress test, blood tests and a 72hour heart monitor and they all looked excellent and was discharged but after a month i started feeling a bit of pain, dizziness and went back to the hospital and they did ecg, blood tests and chest exray they said everything looks good and my heart is OK am not usually a anxious person but this was messing with me after that I went to school and i was OK though I was feeling wierd sensations in my chest and always monitoring my heart and recently I have been having chest pains and always feeling like my heart is beating to low or to fast someone help is it anxiety

Lately i have been super aware of my heart beat when laying down and trying to sleep. I notice it will feel like its beating too slow or almost stops and i end up gasping for air like im dieing. other times i feel like its beating to heavily or hard which is really annoying and worries me to no end. ive tried to diagnose this issue myself and i keep wondering if its a form of sleep apnea or just plain anxiety.

Yes! i have the same thing. Hyper aware of my heart beat while sleeping, palpations, lightheadedness.

Ive been told multiple times it's most likely anxiety

I feel like we have had very similar problems. Ive gone to the cardiologist for an echo, ekg and three halters because of dizziness, lightheadedness, a couple vasovagal syncope episodes, etc. Every time they say my heart is great.

most recently I drove myself to the hospital because of extreme lightheadedness and nausea. Had a slight vasovagal syncope episode while in the hospital. Literally nothing came out of it. Just went for my fourth halter and dropped it off on Wednesday.

So I'm trying therapy in two weeks and some other stuff because nothing is coming out of the cardiologist or PCP.

I've had these types of fears for so so long and it is a tough road to go down. Anxiety can cause SO MANY physical ailments specifically in the chest area especially when you're focused on it.
