Hey Christina. Congratulations on doing better.

I can sympathize, I've had that too when i breathe in and get a sharp winding page. Makes you scared to even breathe. And this weekend, I've had a knot in my chest and upper shoulder, arm adrenaline (both) and palpitations, following 2 panic attacks I've not had in a long time. This has included mild finger pain at times and a general feeling of dread all weekend. I made the BIG mistake of Google, which we all know is a no no and I'm genuinely not sure now of I'm imagining some of the feelings and hence prolonging them.

I'm trying to rationalize my fear by telling myself anything worse would have gotten worse by now and i did feel moments of relief in sleep or when i had distracted myself a bit. I've also had a blood test recently which was normal.

So trust me, i get why you're freaking out, especially when we have a history of anxiety, but it is likely just that or you've pulled a muscle. Let's take some deep breaths together x

thank you, that has made me feel alot better. you have made some valid points on rationalizing your fear. I made it through the night and now the pain is gone.. yea I was probably making it worse because I KEPT breathing deep, to see if the pain was still there!! very proud of myself though.... haven't been to a A&E in about a month in a half.... when I used to go weekly!

I get all this too, chest tightness all over chest and shoulders, breathing odd, just try to do some breathing exercises and calm. It's all anxiety symptoms. 😊
