Are you thinking about heart failure? I don't think your symptoms would be so sudden after 3 months of pneumonia onset but I could be wrong.
Ps: you could still have a normal ejection rate of heart and still have HF, if your ejection rate is lower than a certain percentage it's pretty much confirmed. I am confident you will be fine !! Let us know!!!

Hele,
I am in your situation but my heart failure symptoms have been brought up by a viral infection I had 2 years ago, now after 2 years I have swollen ankles ( not all the time) chronic cough, fatigue a shortness of breath. My cardiologist after doing an echo said I had a leaky aeortic valve but said no HF. Well I don't buy it so I am going to see a second cardiologist in August. I also put on 10 pound of liquid, my weight can fluctuate between 5 pounds between a day and the next. My ejection rate was normal.

Do they have an idea if it's heart related or kidney related? Are the water tablets helping? Do you see a cardiologist? I have same thing, my feet and hands swell and tingle too at times, I look 6 months pregnant, my symptoms are heart related or circulatory, also my shins get shiny when swollen and when they go down my skin is super scaly. What is your doc thinking then?

I think if he thought it was heart failure he would have referred you to a cardiologist. I will have my second opinion appointment with the new cardiologist as I fear I might have it, I also have a persistent cough, so all point to
cardiac failure 😔
I sure do hope I am wrong as that diagnosis is definitely scary!!
