I would try to keep her calm and let her know it will all work out. She needs to concentrate on getting better and not worrying over this. It's good that she was checked over and documented too. I'm sure the impact of the accident caused bruising and whatnot. She will be sore. Did the Dr recommend anything? Something to take or even Epstin salt baths? As far as the school not sure BUT she was in an accident so take the time she needs. Hopefully, she will feel better real soon!! Take Care.

she was told to take ibuprofen and paracetamol for the time being as they weren't sure if she was still in shock and said that she's probably still have an adrenaline Rush when she went in . I've tried saying she needs to worry about herself and nothing else but she is a worryer like me and every little thing gets to her

i guess it depends on your state laws. in my state kids can miss 8 days per semester before they start questioning it. any more than that just requires a dr note to get them to back off. i wouldnt think you'd have any trouble getting a dr note for injuries sustained in a car accident.
