Child with ETD

I have a 7 year old with chronic ETD since she was born. She was born with fluid on the ear and it has been non stop since. She has had 12 ear tubes in her life. Her last one lasted all of 3 months. These are T tubes! It’s only 1 side. Her right side. Her left side never has issues. I am frustrated for her as she is pain daily. I have come across this group and read some about the ballon dilation. I am hoping to find someone who would perform on a child. I am desperate for my daughter.

    This is so sad to read of a child suffering ETD......called glue ear.  What a shame the grommets (tubes) haven't

    worked.  My friends little boy suffered for many years too until the grommets were fitted, right as rain now.

    Depends what country you live in whether tubes will be available.

    Do hope she gets sorted soon.  Bad enough for an adult to suffer this

    very debilitating condition, so much worse for a child
