Hi Anthony, I cannot say that I have heard of this but I will google it. I have just ordered some "advanced Turmeric" which again has been mentioned on facebook as beneficial to both crohns and colitis suffers. I will let you know how I get on with it, anything but these medical drugs and their side effects

Hi decndor,  i'm with you on medical drugs and side effects,i have just had MRI scan few weeks ago and my latest scan as came back showing my strictures are a lot better in lower ileus ,this just me (and might be wrong) but i think Salicylates in foods (aspirin/ nsaids )in the meds as well can cause calprotectin (inflammation) due to destroying intestinal mucosa in stomach that's where (well according to google) Glycine,( bone broth) yuk. might help bone broth mingin but Glycine supplements ok  but as yet not got the formula right   , i've been on blood pressure meds for about twenty years , low dose aspirin helps thinning blood but could also interfere with  mucosal lining of the stomach plus the other meds ( the water tabs don't help either )with electrolytes (potassium loss)  , Glycine supposed to stop calcium leaking back into blood stream and back into the bones,

...wow just realized i been going on a bit here , sorry about that  xxlol
