cholestasis five times

during my first pregnancy in 1999 i developed severe itching at about 27weeks at first i put it down to hormones but was persuided to go to the doctors, when i did i was given a blood test and it was confirmed i did have cholestasis, the levels were dangerously high at one point and i was itching myself until i bled as i have each time i have had it. it was planned that the baby would be induced at 38wks, and the baby was monitored frequently, unfortunately i went in to labour at 34weeks, i was in labour for 5days and my daughter was stillborn. i fell pregnant again in 2000 and again developed cholestasis this time at 32weeks, they took no chances this time and i was closely monitored, blood tests, scans, etc, i was induced at 36weeks and i had a healthy baby girl in jan 2001, although she had to stay in the special care baby unit for 2weeks with breathing diffaculties. during my third pregnancy in 2002 i developed cholestasis at just before 36weeks, i was induced 2 days after being diaganosed so i didnt suffer to badly this time and again i had a healthy baby girl. yet again during my next pregnancy i developed cholestesis at 36weeks and i was induced at 37weeks and i had a girl in march 2005. in my fifth pregnancy in 2006 i developed cholestesis earlier at 32weeks, again i had regular monitoring and various blood tests as well as growth scans and i was again induced at 36weeks and had yet another girl. i fell pregnant when my daugter was 2months old and during this pregnancy i had no problems and suprisingly i didnt get cholestesis, i was induced but only because the baby was a week late and they didnt want to take any risks, this time i had a boy. i was reciently told by a nurse that althouth you can have the symtoms with a boy you only suffer with cholestesis when pregnant with a girl it is something to do with the hormones. well thats what i have experienced. does anyone know anything about this, or even if it is true?[size=7:e8794cbc99][/size:e8794cbc99]

I had a girl in november 2003, induced at 38 wks after getting choleostasis at 36 wks. I then went on to have a boy in november 2004, due to be induced at 37 wks (although he came naturally that same day), after getting choloeostasis again at 36 wks so i dont think its just related to having girls. I'm pregnant again now - 6 wks and will be discussing the possibility of getting it again this time and see what they have to say.
