Cholesteatoma and flying

I have being disagnosied with Cholesteatoma and am waiting on surgery. Is it ok for me to fly before my surgery? I have a holiday booked for the 18th but my consultant is on annual leave and I forgot to ask him during my last appintment

    Hi Claire,

    I have flown prior to my first op and 6 weeks after my second, it will

    be fine.  Have a fantastic holiday.

      Thnks a mill Donna, that's a relief. Did you take any medication before the flight?

    Hi Claire,

    No meds apart from a few strong vodkas at the Airport smile

    If you feel uptight take some Kalms maybe, but honestly you

    will be fine.
