Cholesteatoma sensitive hearing after op

hi all i am looking for some reassurance. i had my operation 5 weeks ago and now back at work in an office. i am really struggling with when the office is really loud, my ear is so so sensitive. will this get better?

    Hi, that is dependant on how badly it damaged the internal ear and ear drum, and how well they've healed since surgery. I had surgery and it took 6 months to have a hearing test due to the damage and very slow healing process. Everyone is different but if all is well then it should be normal in the next two months.

    yes my ears are super sensitive to noise. i keeps saying to my kids stop shouting, but my partner says theyre not even shouting
