Chronic Abdominal Pain + Cramping

Hiya,

21f here. Hx: heavy periods, IUD since 11/2021, cramping, abdo pain. Have had abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound to check IUD placement which was normal, but did show haemorrhagic follicle. I was told this follicle was nothing to worry about and everything else looked fine Have had swabs to rule out STIs, thrush, BV etc. In constant pain, pretty much daily. Some days better than others, but the bad days are getting worse and the pain is making me feel sick. I also get pain and cramping after sex. Used to take mefenamic acid, but did not touch the pain. I was just wondering what my next steps should be. I have put in an e-consult to discuss US with my GP. Is there anything I can ask for or should be aware of? I feel like I can't keep living with this pain. If anyone has had similar experiences or has any suggesstions I would be so grateful! 😃
