Hi all,

I have been suffering for the last 12 years with back pain. And to cut a long story short theres nothing that the nhs can do for me apart from keep me pain free, which involoves me taking Tramadol & Pregablin.

Does anyone have any ideas on helping with pain during the evening? im only getting about 3 hours a night sleep  [sad]

Also I am looking for a Fitness partner who would like to go on walks or maybe gym/fitness classes as im putting on weight due to not being able to do exercise for long periods of time.( which is getting me depressed )

I live on the border of Fallowfield / Burnage and would love to find someone who has something in common ( i work in a gym so gym fees are not needed )

Phew !!!! sorry for rambing on biggrin

    Hi Kelly

I have suffered with Chronic back pain for years as did my father. There seems to be a different opinion for every sufferer and what works for one person clearly does not for another.

My father went to osteopaths and chiropracters. I've tried nearly every suggested remedy. When I did that it made my back worse and I had to have surgery.

Out of all the things that I tried, I found Pilates was the cure for me. Gentle walking is also good--good luck !

Hi hon, saw my back specialist on Tuesday. Complete waste of time on both parts. My back specialist at southport hadn't reported back to Walton after my follow up after injections. So now they are going to have to get their heads together to see what medications to change. He doesn't want to operate as it would be a 50/50 chance of it working. Glad yours is easing a little.

I too Hope  everybody is well xx
