Chronic Calcific Pancreatitis_Problems and Life Expectancy

Hello,

I have been diagnosed with Chronic Calcific Pancreatitis 6 months ago with epigastric pain, radiating to back and increased postprandially associated with steatorrhoe undoucmented weight loss. CEC Abdomen showed chronic pancreatitis with dilated pancreatic duct and extensive calcification.

I underwent ECRP, ESWL and pancreatic sphincterotomy. Pancreatic stent was placed on January 25. After that I have been suffering from vomiting tendency, pain in pancreas. Also, facing memory loss issues since 6 months.

What could be the reason? Also, what is the life expectancy? My age is 25 years...

A friend suffers from this condition. I did a literature search found a possible drug treatment to dissolve the stones:

Dissolution of pancreatic stones by oral trimethadione in patients with chronic calcific pancreatitis

Noda et al,  Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepacology (1994)

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7827299

According to this admittedly small study the medication was well tolerated and achieved a reduction in the size of pancreatic stones and reported complete relief of pain in 73% of patients during the treatment. Trimethadione was used as a medicine for the treatment of petit mal patients. The primary metabolite of trimethadione is dimethadione, a weak acid which is excreted in pancreatic juice in a high concentration.

This study seems to have been forgotten as it only has 13 citations.

Currently trying to find out if it is possible to get this medicine prescribed.

After reading lots  i found out that Inflammation can cause  calcification    and in order to  stop calcification   first look for the source of inflammation and high PTH hormone  and low vitamin D at least in my case   Try to  get  magnesium  +vitamin k2  and Chanca Piedra herb  magnesium and  k2 does not  allow calcification  than  to remove excess calcium from your body use sodium thiosulfate  with  one spoon of vitamin C  powder  U must have that vitamin C to  be safe than  daily have glass of  apple cider  vinegar but make sure to get your vitamin
