Chronic Cough/Post nasal Drip

Been suffering for 8 years, countless visits to ENT specialists, Chinese Herbal Practitioners and twice daily nasal irrigation did not resolved.

Recently sinus got infected and was on a 2 week course of antibiotics (Clarinthromycin) and Fexofenadrine.

By the time the greenish phlegm cleared, the PND continues.

Was told that my problem is due to an allergy to dust mites and surgery would not improve my conditions.

The ENT specialist prescribed Atrovent nasal spray(impratropium Bromide), for the first 2 days significantly less mucus drip, but thicker clear bubbly phlegm.

When I look up the web on the side effects and long term use of Atrovent, I found that this drug is not suitable for patients with narrow angle glaucoma and BPH history.

I was diagnosed with both conditions a few months back.

I contacted the doctor and was told to stop the medication.

Meanwhile, the symptoms continues and awaiting for my next review in a month's time.
