Chronic Group C Strep ThroatInfection?

So i was diagnosed with a group C strep throat infection around a month ago. I was given a 10 day Cephalosporin antibiotic. Around the 4th day I also developed pink eye and was then given an antibiotic eye drop for that it seemed to clear up. The antibiotic for my throat took all 10 days until i noticed a difference. However, I still feel like the left side of my throat is a little swollen and that it feels like i have something stuck back there and my left lymph node is a little more swollen than the right one but it is definitely not as swollen as when i first became sick. I was wondering if maybe I am still infected with this group C strep or if these are some lingering symptoms since not much is known about group C strep. Keep in mind that I do have my tonsils and adenoids out. I have been taking vitamin C and have never ran a fever during this.

May i ask you if you had a fever? And if the simple trep test revealed group C strep? I had 10 days of antibiotics for throat infection. The antibiotics cleared everything. The swollen lymph nodes never went down though. The throat is sore now again.

Hi, have you tried Garlic?, other things that may help are Turmeric and Kefir, Kefir packed with probiotics and gurgling with Himalayan salt.
