Chronic head pressure on right side and chronic neck and shoulder pain on left side

Hello, I am a 20 year old male with no prior major health concerns. I'm about 6 feet tall and weigh around 150 pounds. In November of 2014 I developed this head pressure on the right side of my forehead right under my eyebrow. It is a dull pressure feeling that is constantly there all day. Some days the pressure is worse but those days are random, as I have searched for a correlation but have found none. I went to a neurologist, the doctor said it was my supraorbital nerve was causing this pressure. I had a brain mri and it came back normal. I got a nerve block at the location of the pressure and it really helped the pressure made it almost unoticeable. But then after a few months the pressure came back. I haven't been able to get back to the doctor for another nerve block, although I made an appointment coming up soon. Now about two months ago, I developed this shoulder and neck tightness feeling on the left side. Just like the head pressure it is there all day everyday. Some days it is worse and some days it is very mild. I have tried stretching and doing arm exercises and nothing really seems to help. I've taken different anti inflammatory medicines but they do nothing. I have not been able to make it to the doctor either for my should and neck. I am wondering if these two symptoms are related somehow? And maybe there is something wrong with my neck or spine? I was hoping that someone could give me some advice on what to do or who to see. Now I'm not worried I'm in danger of something serious happening to my health. But these feelings of pressure and tightness are very annoying. I just want to feel normal again without these annoying feelings.

I typed out this whole explanation of my history but I let it.
After extensive testing I finally went to a chiropractor. I've used chiropractors in the past for my back. However, his time it was my neck causing pain in head, shoulder etc. This doc helped me and I regained range of motion in my neck and was pain free.
Good luck.

Oh one other thing Ron. I don't know if you are a student or work or both but part of the problem (before my adjustments) was computer work.

I thought I had answered your question about how long did it take for me to see results. Within one week, two adjustments, I regained range of motion. I haven't had a blackout in over 7 years.
Take care, Karen

I agree it sonds as though it is du to pressure from bulging discs. My physio taught me gentle exercises such as turning my head to the right several times then doing the same turning my head/neck to the left. Start off with doing it x2, then x3, then x 4, 5 etc each day.
However please remember that it is very important to turn your head very slowly to avoid damaging/pulling on the neck or back muscles and making things worse.
As u have been checked out and the problem identified then it sounds as though it is safe to commence very gentle exerciseto strengthen your back and neck muscles. As you know pain causes smuscular spasms of . These worsen the pain. Viscious circle!
If u google the mechanism of pain you will see the fiull explanation of this.
I feel it safe to do very gentle exercises to strengthen your neck and back muscles. The head is very heavy putting a pressure of about three stone on the spine. My physio advised me that when watching TV, doing any computer work to do it on eye level. Sit tall in a chair with a small pillow to support the neck to take th strain off the spine.
Also advised me to sleep/use special curved pillow at night in bed for supporting your neck.
Try these exercises then see how you get on.
Good luck.
